there is no shortage of activities and places of interest to visit in
the area. Some of these include--for the young and the young at heart--
there are the seaside resorts of Bournemouth, where a visit to the

which are all close at hand.
The waterfront city of Portsmouth, with
its historic docklands and ships and its
Gunwharf Quays with
its shops, bars, restaurants, and leisure facilities is another "must"
visit."
The many rides and attractions at Paultons Family Theme Park are only a
short distance away at Junction 2 of the M27.
Beaulieu
is less than seven miles away and with the Palace House, the Abbey, and
the National Motor Museum any visit should provide a great day out for
all the family, while many Elmers Court visitors consider Winchester
with its ancient cathedral, well worth a visit.
For the more energetic, there is
horse riding or cycling
on the many bridleways, forest trails and the quiet roads of the New
Forest which is right on the resorts doorstep.
There are several golf courses in the area where visitors are welcome,
including the nearby Walhampton, and Brockenhurst Manor Golf Club.
